Sexual contact (even without intercourse in the narrow sense).
Cervical cancer, mouth/throat cancer, penile, anal cancer. Also genital warts.
Nonavalent vaccine (Gardasil 9) covers 9 types, protects against > 90 % of HPV-related cancers.
Girls and boys from age 9, ideally before first sexual contact. Catch-up STIKO recommendation up to age 17, possible up to age 26.
Booster: Keine Auffrischung. Nachholimpfung bis 17 J. empfohlen, bis 26 J. möglich.
