VAT Information
Medical treatments in human medicine are exempt from VAT pursuant to § 4 No. 14 a) of the German VAT Act (UStG). A VAT identification number is therefore not provided.
Professional Liability Insurance
Professional liability insurance is held with a recognised insurer for healthcare professions; the geographical scope of cover comprises at least the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. Details are made available to patients on request.
Consumer Dispute Resolution
Pursuant to § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG), we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The arbitration body for medical treatment errors is the Expert Commission for Medical Treatments of the Landesärztekammer Hessen, Im Vogelsgesang 3, 60488 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
