Live vaccine (Stamaril, YF-Vax). One dose = lifelong protection (WHO 2016).
Travellers to endemic areas (sub-Saharan Africa, tropical South America). Mandatory entry requirement in some countries — vaccination certificate (yellow booklet) required.
Booster: WHO 2016: Einmal-Impfung gilt lebenslang. Manche Länder verlangen formell Auffrischung alle 10 J. (Einreisebestimmung) — bei Reise prüfen. Impfung nur in autorisierten Gelbfieber-Impfstellen.
