Immune system — laboratory profile for assessing the immune system.
With the lab profile Immune system you receive a structured assessment of your immune system. With an estimated count of about 10,000 leukocytes per microlitre of blood and a blood volume of around 7 litres, the human body has nearly 70 billion white blood cells in the blood alone. Including the entire immune system, the figure rises to about 1.8 trillion cells — in skin, gut, liver, spleen, bone marrow.
We analyse the following parameters:
- Iron and transferrin
- Immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE)
- Serum protein electrophoresis
- Sodium, magnesium, potassium, calcium
- Reticulocyte count
- Blood count with differentiation of white blood cells
- Special differential blood count
- Uric acid
